Before the next check, make sure the control is in neutral, the emergency stop lanyard is fitted, fuel is available, and the main battery switch is on. Since you already stated that the starter does not turn, now specify whether the instrument panel powers up normally and whether you hear one click, repeated clicks, or complete silence when starting.
